Springbok Drilling Ltd was set up in 2005 as an independent limited company with the aim of providing contract Drilling & Well Engineering services to the Oil Industry. The Company Directors are Angus McKay PhD MCSM CEng CSci MIMMM and Helen McKay BSc (HONS) MSc.

Springbok Drilling Ltd is based in Aberdeenshire, Scotland and is currently contracted to BG‑Group providing Lead & Operations Drilling Engineering support in the BG‑Group Aberdeen Office for a further eHPHT appraisal well.

Other Lead & Drilling Engineering assignments have included:

• 2010 BG Norge’s first eHPHT exploration well.
• 2010 BG Norge’s multi-side track appraisal well.
• 2009 BG Group eHPHT side track appraisal well.
• 2008 BG Norge’s first two exploration wells.
• 2007 BG Group NPNT exploration campaign
• 2005/6 BG Group HPHT exploration well.

The support roles have included the writing of HPHT exploration and appraisal well drilling programs as well as Lead Drilling Engineer services.
